Here's a Honda CX500 custom build designed more for offroad use - titled Ranger Green.

Like the last build we featured (the CX500R) this is from Brick House Builds in Missouri. Rather than being a shop bike like the CX500R, however, Ranger Green was a commissioned build for a customer. As you can see the stock Keihin carbs have Uni-pod filters on them (eBay US, eBay CA, eBay UK, eBay AU) - contrasting in colour nicely - and speaking of colour, the carbs, motor and frame are all painted the same colour.

Perhaps the most unusual custom fabrication on the bike is the bash plate under the motor:

Comprising 10 pieces of heavy gauge metal it was designed on the fly due to the complex shape and proximity to the battery box and exhaust, requiring hundreds of test fits before it was welded into a single geometric piece.

BJ English, the builder, also opted for higher bars and simplified electronics:
