Review: Kincrome Gasket Scraper K080016

Sick of using a screwdriver or knife to scrape off old gaskets? For all of ~$12 delivered you can have yourself an official gasket scraper tool in the Kincrome K080016, which I am reviewing today.

Here are some photos of the Kincrome Gasket Scraper tool, part number K080016 as featured in our review on Motofaction.org.

Specs:

So! Does it work? In a word, yes. For the price it makes removing old gasket material and sealant easier than just using a blade or a screwdriver. The wide blade and angled end makes it easy to apply pressure at a shallow angle and minimise the likelihood that you dig into soft aluminium and leave a gouge on the gasketed surface. For the cheap price, it’s worth it. You can find one for yourself on eBay – they’re usually in the low $20s but can often be found below $15 as of the time of writing (mid-2016).
