Oil leaking out of the hole in the side of the head on your Honda CX500, GL500, CX650, GL650 or other twisted twin variant?
That hole is the drain hole for the spark plug recess. The most common cause of an oil leak here is a missing, damaged or misaligned round rubber gasket in the rocker cover near the top of that hole.
Remove the spark plug caps so that you can take off the rocker cover:
Remove the bolts on the rocker cover with a 10mm socket (different bike to the first couple of pics!):
