Need to remove your left side cover/fairing on your CB125E? You don’t need to remove the seat to do this, but it does make manipulating the top part of the side cover on removal and installation slightly easier. The left side requires the bike’s key to undo – look towards the bottom of the fairing piece for the lock, circled below:
From the factory they had a helpful sticker installed on the side cover, as you can see in the photo. Insert the key, turn to the right and at the same time put your fingers behind the lower part of the fairing and pull gently:
Once the bottom is loosened, there are two other plastic tangs pushed through rubber bungs – the locations are approximately circled below:
Gently pull one side out slightly, then the other – don’t pull one side too much farther out than the other or you risk snapping off the plastic lugs on the inside. Once removed, you should see this:
A couple of fuses, the toolkit and various wiring connectors (including the indicator flasher unit).
