Need to change the air filter in your VE/VF Holden Commodore with the LFX 3.6L V6 engine? Here's how.
First off grab a new air filter - we used a Ryco A1557 (eBay AU):

Out of the box:

As you are facing the engine bay the air filter is on the right hand side (left side of the car):

The plastic top is held on by a number of metal clips; unclip them all:

Here you can see the old filter - the top side is the side that faces the incoming air so it should be dirty if the filter is old:

The filter simply lifts out:

New next to old:

The new sits in the same as the old did. Easy done! Grab a new filter for the job on eBay. Just remember to clip all of the clips back down. For more Commodore articles, see the main page.
