Baumr-AG have a wide ranging presence on the Australian eBay site (see here) and are often offering some decent looking garage shelving inexpensively (see here). What do you get for your money? Here are some photos of a shelving unit we received. Assembled:

So... the welds aren't pretty, the paint is all over the shop and the shelves are warped out of the box. Having said that, we have been using the shelving for a year now with plenty of heavy stuff chucked onto it and it hasn't fallen down, bent or otherwise done anything of concern... so it certainly does the job it ought to.
In terms of whether it's good value or not - I think that really comes down to what else is available to you locally. We ended up adding extra shelving from Bunnings' Rack-It range and were pleased with the quality there (for knock-together-yourself) - but YMWV. Check out the current Baumr-AG shelving prices here.
