Trying to loosen or tighten the locknut on your triple backbone-framed CX swingarm so you can remove/reattach it? One of these is invaluable:

The extension allows you to use your 1/2″ drive wrench while still using the hex key to hold the other nut in place:

I can’t really comment on the quality of the welding, but it works:

So, how is it used? Here’s the swingarm of a CX650ED:

As you can see, you can access the inner hex easily through the tool:

The torque values in the manual for the locknut are calculated based on the offset that this tool has. As you can see, it works perfectly – we had no issue removing or tightening the nut using it.
