That hole is the drain hole for the spark plug recess. The most common cause of an oil leak here is a missing, damaged or misaligned round rubber gasket in the rocker cover near the top of that hole.

Remove the spark plug caps so that you can take off the rocker cover:

Remove the bolts on the rocker cover with a 10mm socket (different bike to the first couple of pics!):
