Today's featured build comes from Roanoke, Virginia (USA) and is a heavily modified CX650C:
There aren't many in the build list like it so far - the rake angle is 45 degrees and it has had a hardtail conversion done at the rear.
Unusually we get a top-down view!

The hardtail conversion and lowering has locked the driveshaft at ~8 degrees above center. Specific details about this build are hard to come by, though the photos do tell a good story.
Dabney Culley, the current owner, says he was drawn to this custom CX as it is unlike anything else out there. He is plenty happy with the bike in it's current form and considers it to be finished, and has been riding it since 2011. For anyone else looking at a CX, he says to follow your heart - his is very solid for a 33 year old bike and he is obviously attached to it!
