The Rae San Hall Effect kit is an aftermarket ignition system designed to replace the entire stock ignition setup on a Honda CX500, GL500, CX650 or GL650 motorcycle. We are today looking at the CDI-replacing variant:

These are readily available online if you require replacements – , eBay UK, eBay CA, eBay AU. The electrical connections have a little rubber seal:
This little box is where you can set the ignition mapping by using a little jumper on the front. It also shows the timing via the little LEDs:
On one side there are the input wires:
On the other there’s the ground and the output wires:

On the other there should be a glued-in magnet:
