Where is the oil filter on a Honda CB125E?
Looking for which oil filter to use on the Honda CB125E, or where to find it? Trick question - you won't find one, because the engine doesn't use one.
There is an oil strainer for the oil pump pickup, but this isn't going to catch the fine particles a paper filter will, though it will stop larger objects from jamming the oil pump. The lack of an oil filter makes regular oil changes all the more important! Also, be sure to stop any dirt etc. from falling into the crankcase while you have the dipstick out, as it's just going to circulate around the engine components causing damage.
