Weber 32/36 DGV, DGAV, DGEV, DFV etc - removing the fuel filter and valve seat

So you have removed the power valve of your Weber 32/36 carburetor and now need to remove the float valve seat and fuel filter. Here's a guide to how.

The needle valve seat is brass and located here:

The seat takes either a 10mm spanner or long socket:

The valve seat has an aluminium washer:

The fuel filter lives under a large brass bolt which takes a 19mm socket:

Remove it and you can see the top of the fuel filter:

Remove the fuel filter - it just lifts out:
