So does it work? Sure does. We use this with a cordless impact wrench to get the flywheels off our CX500s and CX650s, and have had no issues with it at all. If you can find a hardened bolt of the same thread from a local fastener store for cheaper there's probably no reason to go with the Motion Pro bolt specifically; it is, however, of good quality and has survived a half dozen flywheel removals so far with no issue.
