Today we're looking at the Honda Special Tool 09745-4150100 - the Crank Cap Driver. It also helps with the disassembly/assembly of the final shaft.

It's small but fairly hefty with a nicely knurled surface:

The business end is what faces the crank cap or the final shaft:

There's a little cutout in the protrusion which mates neatly with the final shaft:

Here's how you assess whether the final shaft is within spec or not using the Honda special tool and a hydraulic press.

We'll get some measurements for this tool just as soon as we can figure out the most useful format to make them in. There are three guide bolts that are supposed to come with this tool but we do not have them, sadly. Once we do find some we'll update the post.

Essentially, this tool helps you reinstall a crank cap into a motor and to disassemble and reassemble a final shaft using a hydraulic press. Writeups coming shortly on both those things!
