Dawn 4L Cast Semi-Steel Bench Vice Refurbishment

Here’s another Dawn 4L vice in need of cleaning up:

The intervening pics are missing, but here it is repainted and fresly greased:

I’d like to know whether the lack of a dot between the 4 and the L means it’s newer than those with the dot – anyone who knows please drop me a line.
