How to remove the engine on a Triumph Daytona 675 - MotoFaction

Removing the motor

How do you remove the engine on a Triumph Daytona 675? Here's the list of steps:

Drain the oil
Drain the coolant
Remove the rider seat
Remove the pillion seat
Disconnect the battery
Remove the rear fairing(s)
Remove the left/right fairings
Remove the fuel tank
Remove the airbox
Remove the throttle bodies
Remove the radiator
Remove the exhaust system
Disconnect the gearshift linkage
Put the bike on a paddock stand
Set the drive chain to maximum free play
Remove the sprocket cover
Disconnect ALL electrical connections to the motor
Disconnect the clutch cable
Support the engine
Remove the gearbox engine mount and slacken frame sleeves
Remove the left front and center engine mounts, and slacken frame sleeves
Double check everything is disconnected
Remove the right hand engine mounting bolts, carefully lower, remove chain and then catch engine
