Honda CX500 – Engine Teardown

This engine was presented to us as a non-runner that had been left out in the elements for quite some time. The rear cover had been removed some years previous and had not been placed back properly, leaving a gap for rain to enter. Curious to see how the engine had fared after this time, we thought we would take some photos as we opened it up.

Well, that’s where we left off with that engine… for now.
