Looking to remove your front fender? It’s quite a straight-forward process on a Honda CB125E. You’ll need:
- 8mm socket
- 10mm wrench
- Phillips head screwdriver
On either side of your fender – just behind the front forks – there’s a bolt with an 8mm head:

Use your 8mm socket to remove it, and the identical one on the other side:

Two bolts, removed:

Now, there’s two more bolts that aren’t obvious – this time on the front of the forks, on the inside. Look up from below to see them:

Use a 10mm wrench to remove them. Having one with a gear head is definitely a plus here:

These bolts are different to the other ones, so don’t mix them up:

The fender should now be loose:

Now, on the left hand side behind the fork there’s a guide for the speedo cable:

Rather than risk damaging the guide or fender by pulling it out, we find it easier to unhook the speedo cable at the bottom where it meets the speedo drive:

One screwdriver required:

Once the screw is fully removed, the speedo cable should slide out easily:

Slide the cable up through the guide, making sure not to bend it in a tight radius or kink it. Once it’s out of the guide, we like to put it back where it came from and reinstall the screw to save dirt/debris from getting into the speedo drive or cable, and to save us from losing the screw.
At this point, you can remove the front wheel and remove the fender easily, or – if you’re willing to risk damaging/scratching it – you can carefully pull it through between the forks to the front:

The speedo cable guide gets in the way, but can be squashed through:

Fender out:

Beneath the fender is a fork brace:

One fenderless front end:
