So at this point you have drained the engine oil and replaced your engine oil filter. Now on to putting the sump plug in:

The sump plug washer is GM-03536966 (available on eBay AU or from your local Holden dealer). It's generally a good idea to replace it... cheap insurance against leaks. With a new washer in place, hand tighten the sump plug. If you use a socket or spanner at this point you increase the chance of cross-threading the bolt.

Pop in your funnel:

Holden specs 6.7L of oil for the LE0 if you changed the filter as well - we use Nulon full synthetic 5w30 (eBay AU). We usually fill to about 6L, make sure the car is level and check the oil after a couple of minutes and then slowly add about 250ml at a time to bring it up to the full level on the dipstick. It's much easier and less time consuming to go slow and not over-fill than to put too much in and have to drain some out.

Once you have filled to the full mark on the dipstick checking underneath the engine for leaks after it has sat for a few minutes. Assuming there are no leaks, carefully lower the car to the ground and take it for a short test drive, being vigilant for any strange noises or warning lights on the dash. Stop the car on level ground, let it sit for a few minutes and check the oil again - topping up if necessary - and check again for leaks. Assuming all is good at this point then you're done!
